| About Our Business & Special Thanks The Door & Window Store, Inc. has been a family owned and operated business in the Prescott area since 1981. Owners, Doug and Ruth Blocker started the business out of their home in a two car garage. Over the next 28 years The Door & Window Store has moved 4 times in an effort to expand and better serve its customers. Our latest move was in January of 2005, in which the Blocker's took a leap of faith and built a new 37,000 square foot multi-warehouse complex to house The Door & Window Store. After a rough start in the new facility, in which the offices and showroom were in the warehouse, The Door & Window Store has made the final transition into its showroom. Aside from the physical growth, The Door & Window Store has also had tremendous growth in staff. Doug and Ruth's son J.D. Blocker is now General Manager and their daughter Michele Thompson is CFO. They also have Soc DeRonde as Operations Manager, Amber Brambila as Purchasing Agent and Beth Noonan as Credit Manager. Special Thanks Growth and prosperity through the years would have been difficult at best without the help of loyal employees, contractors, customers and suppliers, but ultimately unattainable without God's blessing and to him we are truly thankful.
