A little bit about our background and what we do here...
The Door & Window Store, Inc. has been a family owned and operated business in the Prescott area since 1981. Original owners, Doug and Ruth Blocker started the business out of their home in a two car garage. Over the next 35 years The Door & Window Store has moved 4 times in an effort to expand and better serve its customers. Our latest move was in January of 2005, in which the Blocker's took a leap of faith and built a new 37,000 square foot multi-warehouse complex to house The Door & Window Store. This facility is specifically designed for DWS's business needs and allows every square foot to be put to maximum use.
In 2011 Doug & Ruth Blocker sold DWS to their son J.D. who had
been the general manager for the previous 14 years. J.D. with his wife, Lori, and two daughters, Shelby and Ashley, continued to grow and develop The Door & Window Store and its sister company The Trim Connection LLC. Both companies have grown and transformed over the years to best meet the needs of its customers, both new and existing.
